After developing projects in Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Springdale and Siloam Springs, Haag Brown Commercial of Jonesboro is establishing a permanent office in northwest Arkansas.
“We’re already there so much – once or twice a week,” Haag Brown Commercial Principal Josh Brown said. “The real thing that we’ve seen up there is that’s where our clients are already taking us. We’re having to spend so much of our time on the road to northwest Arkansas.”
The company will be located in the Clear Creek Tower building at 4100 Corporate Center Drive in Springdale. Darryl Napolitano will lead the NWA team.
“Several of our top clients such as Arkansas Dentistry and Braces and Furniture Factory Outlet have made northwest Arkansas their base for expansion and operations,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal Greg Haag. “We felt it was time for us to make a permanent commitment to the area as well.”
Northwest Arkansas has been a source of inspiration for Haag Brown Commercial’s work in Jonesboro and other parts of the state.
“One of the dynamic things about NWA from a development perspective is the sheer number of markets in the trade area,” Brown said. “We have known for two years that we needed a presence in northwest Arkansas, but we just did not have the right person to lead that effort. That is why we are so blessed to welcome Darryl to our team.”
Napolitano has 10 years of commercial real estate experience across all areas of the industry including development, acquisitions, tenant representation, leasing, asset management, site selection and market research.
He was involved in the CVS/Caremark Arkansas market entry strategy and has assisted the company in development projects throughout the entire state. He also managed the national portfolio for Books-A-Million which included more than 250 stores.
“Overseeing development projects in multiple cities across multiple states and running a rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm in northeast Arkansas requires constant momentum,” Haag said. “ Darryl’s experience provides that momentum needed to start this new venture on the opposite side of the state.”
Brown said that operations in Jonesboro will not slow down at all with this new office addition.
Haag Brown is currently working on a 27-acre office park where its Jonesboro headquarters will be situated. Brown said that the goal is to be moved into the office with the amenities finished by May 1. Brown said the running trail is complete and the lake has been cleared and they are now waiting for a permit to build a dam in the lake.
