With Haag Brown Development of Jonesboro announced plans Thursday for a new retail project that will include a Starbucks and Arkansas Braces at the corner of East Race and Rand Drive in Searcy.
The 6,300-SF center will be located on the site of the old Marple Auto Sales.
“I feel like we have addressed a real need in this market,” said Haag Brown’s Joshua Brown in a news release. “As someone who drives from Jonesboro to Little Rock often, Searcy is a natural stopping point along the route. By the time you get to Jacksonville, it feels like you are too close to your destination to drink a cup of coffee.โย
Brown and fellow principal Greg Haag worked with Hank Kelley of Little Rock’s Flake and Kelley on the project, located on a 5-acre tract.
