JONESBORO, AR | February 9, 2016 :: Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate & Development announced today the sale of a parcel of land at the intersection of Southwest Drive and Highland Drive.

“We are excited to see the project with Boos Development and CVS come to fruition. The landmark corner of Southwest Drive and Highland will be an exceptional site for CVS and has already created ancillary activity.” said Haag Brown co-owner Joshua Brown. “This is the first of three potential announcements anticipated in this immediate area over the course of the next few months. This intersection is a gateway from home to work for several thousand people daily.”

Brown added that his team has enjoyed building a relationship with the property’s sellers, Marty Bennett, owner of Bennett’s Nursery, and Sharon Porter. “We loved working with the Bennett and Porter families and are excited to complete this transaction,” Brown said. “Marty is such an easy-going guy. This will be a great opportunity for his business to expand. Mrs. Porter and her family have been through so much adversity over the past year; we are just happy for them to find needed opportunities.”

Due to the growth we experienced, operating on less than one acre of land and being landlocked created an unmanageable situation. With a lot of luck and the diligence of Greg Haag and Joshua Brown of Haag Brown Commercial, we were given the opportunity to sell our portion of the Bennett Nursery property which allowed us to purchase property that will better suit our needs and the needs of our customers and clients.”
