JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) :: CVS is coming to Jonesboro.

Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate & Development announced Tuesday the new pharmacy will be built at the intersection of Southwest and Highland Drives.

Marty Bennett, of Bennett’s Nursery, and Sharon Porter, owned the property.

“Being the ‘Biggest Little Nursery on the Corner’ has allowed us great opportunity to be part of the heartbeat of Jonesboro’s tremendous economic growth,” Bennett is quoted as saying in a news release from Haag Brown. “We were given the opportunity to sell our portion of the Bennett Nursery property which allowed us to purchase property that will better suit our needs and the needs of our customers and clients.”

Joshua Brown, co-owner of Haag Brown, said the sale was the “first of three potential announcements anticipated in this immediate area over the course of the next few months.”

In related news, Haag Brown Commercial has been named a finalist for the Small Business of the Year by Arkansas Business.

Brown has also been nominated as a finalist for Executive of the Year.
