The Highlands shopping center sits on over 8 acres at the most important intersection in Jonesboro; Highland Drive and Red Wolf Boulevard. The traffic counts at this intersection hit almost 80,000 cars per day.
“The Red Wolf / Highland intersection has been ground zero for commercial real estate in the Jonesboro trade area for almost a decade,” noted Haag Brown Commercial Principal Joshua Brown. “The other three corners are fully developed. We are in negotiations with a few really popular national brands that we think Jonesboro will be excited about.”
Zac Qualls of Haag Brown Commercial manages the property for G & P Development, LLC and has overseen its redevelopment. “It has been a pleasure working with G & P Development on rebranding one of the most wellknown shopping centers in Jonesboro,” said Zac. “We are all excited to put quality tenants into the center like TJ’s Burgers. The center has great synergy and I believe it really shows with our diverse tenant mix.”
TJ’s Burgers will occupy the 3,000 square foot space between the Hive and People Source. Signage for the restaurant is already in place and construction within the space has begun. The restaurant is expected to open in August. Another tenant announcement is coming soon to The Highlands.
