Popular Furniture Store Coming to Paducah
FFO Home continues to blaze a trail of opening stores in the southern United States and Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce the company has finalized it’s first deal in the state of Kentucky. The popular furniture store will be located just west of Interstate 24 on James Sanders Boulevard in Paducah, directly across from Sam’s Club.
FFO Home is a superior value furniture retailer who offers their customers top quality furniture and selection at a price 30-50% below their competitors. The company was founded over 30 years ago and keeps expanding with over 47 locations across multiple states.
FFO Home President, Larry Zigerelli is optimistic about the additional opportunities this deal will create in Kentucky.
“As a Top 100 retailer historically located in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas, we have recently expanded into Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas, and are thrilled to add Kentucky to that list. We are focused on bringing more stores to the state in the near future and look forward to serving the needs of Paducah and the surrounding area.”
“It seems like the first deal in a new trade area is always the hardest,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal, Joshua Brown. “I hope that’s the case because this one wasn’t bad. We had a great team in place. This store will open up several opportunities in Kentucky and Tennessee for FFO Home.”
The 23,500 square foot FFO Home store will be constructed on 2.79 acres adjacent to the Kentucky Oaks Mall between Tokyo Hibachi and Toys “R” Us. There are several national restaurants and retailers in the immediate area including Sam’s Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Gander Mountain, JC Penney, Pizza Warehouse, Cold Stone Creamery, Steak n’ Shake, and Red Lobster.
“FFO has been excited about expanding into Kentucky and being part of Paducah’s growing retail market, we were just looking for the right opportunity,” stated Haag Brown Commercial Principal Greg Haag.
Dawn Wientjes of Falconite Development represented the property’s seller, Falconite Real Estate Holdings, LLC, in the transaction.
