Tacos 4 Life Expands Texas Reach With Waxahachie Location
Arkansas-based taco restaurant announces second Texas location
Waxahachie, TX :: Tacos 4 Life, an Arkansas-grown taco restaurant with a mission to help end world hunger, is opening its second Texas location in Waxahachie. Expected to open in late 2018, the Waxahachie location follows the opening of Tacos 4 Life’s first Texas location in Frisco late last year. Tacos 4 Life is partnering up with franchisee, Jim Stanford, for the newest store.
“We were so excited to open our first location in Texas six months ago, and to already be opening another location is such an incredible feeling,” said Austin Samuelson, co-founder of Tacos 4 Life. “As soon as we spoke with Jim Stanford, we knew he would be an incredible addition to the Tacos 4 Life family. We can’t wait to welcome the Waxahachie community to our brand and mission.”
Jim Stanford inquired about becoming a franchisee last year and within one week had travelled to Arkansas and fallen in love with the Tacos 4 Life food and mission. He was moved by Tacos 4 Life’s mission to feed starving children across the globe, as he has always been very mission-oriented.
“The door for Tacos 4 Life opened up at the perfect time,” Stanford said. “You can invest in things that will just make you money, but there’s nothing like investing in something that invests in other people. We are beyond excited to be a part of this, and to see the exponential growth that motivates us to feed more and more kids.”
“Our real estate team has put in a lot of time and effort into positioning our first free-standing store in this trade area in the right location,” said Joshua Brown, principal at Haag Brown Commercial. “With the help of Tyler and Warren at Edge Realty Partners, I think we have accomplished our goal. We are also excited about the pipeline we are building in the area.”
The way Tacos 4 Life works is simple – for every taco, quesadilla, salad or rice bowl sold, Tacos 4 Life donates $0.22 to Feed My Starving Children. $0.22 is equivalent to the cost of one meal for a hungry child.
Tacos 4 Life will release more information regarding the location and the official opening date later in the year. Stay tuned for details on the Tacos 4 Life Facebook page, located here.
About Tacos 4 Life
Long before Tacos 4 Life opened its doors, co-founders Austin and Ashton Samuelson had a heart for the hungry. In 2009, they learned that over 18,000 children were dying worldwide each day due to starvation and hunger related causes. What surprised them is that the problem was completely preventable. Starvation is nothing more than a distribution problem. This simple fact moved them so much that they knew they could, and should, do something to help solve this problem. Thus, Tacos 4 Life was opened its first location in Conway, AR in 2014.
The Samuelson’s believe that God is up to something big and can use Tacos 4 Life, which exists to serve amazing food and to empower communities to fight to end world hunger, to help solve the world’s most solvable problem. Tacos 4 Life is a highly-differentiated restaurant that offers chef-inspired, award winning menu items served in a unique environment.
Tacos 4 Life is also looking for like-minded people who are ready to join our growing family of franchisees. We look for owner/operators with solid operators in mind to help extend our brand and mission to help end world hunger. Some states Tacos 4 Life is looking to find franchise partners in, include Texas, Oklahoma & Tennessee. All franchise opportunities are available on our website, listed below.
