WACO, TEXAS
FFO Home continues to be one of the fastest growing furniture stores in the United States and Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce the company has finalized another deal in the state of Texas. The popular furniture store will occupy the former Hastings space across from Target at the intersection of Bosque Boulevard and North Valley Mills Drive in Waco.
FFO Home is a superior value furniture retailer who offers their customers top quality furniture and selection at a price 30-50% below their competitors. The company was founded over 30 years ago and keeps expanding with over 75 locations across multiple states.
“We have toured this area of Texas several times over the past couple of years. Opening a store in Waco has been a high priority for FFO Home. The market is dynamic and we are excited about landing a great location for our client. We would not have reached the finish line without a cooperative landlord and the hard work of Pat Ferrar, who was the local broker.” Joshua Brown | Haag Brown Commercial Principal
Haag Brown Commercial worked with Pat Ferrar of Reid Peevey Commercial in Waco, Texas who represented the shopping center’s Landlord, Stewart/Belf Asset Management Co., in securing the lease for FFO Home.
Waco is located within a 90-minute drive of Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, which has greatly contributed to the growth its economy has experienced.
“The growth of this market over the past few years has been impressive. It was no question that FFO needed to be a part of it. We were just looking for the right opportunity and we found it.” Greg Haag | Haag Brown Commercial Principal
The 34,715 square foot FFO Home store is in close proximity to such national restaurants and retailers as the Cotton Patch Cafe, Target, Hobby Lobby, Panda Express, and Tuesday Morning. The building is located less than 6 miles from Baylor University and has exposure to over 36,000 cars per day.
Re-configuration of the space is currently underway and the store is expected to open in December of 2018.
