Tacos 4 Life Announces First Oklahoma Location
Arkansas-based taco franchise continues growth with Tulsa store
Tacos 4 Life, an Arkansas-grown taco restaurant with a mission to help end world starvation, announces today its expansion to Oklahoma. The state’s first location will be in Tulsa and is expected to open in mid 2019. The news comes after the brand’s growth to three other states in the past year.
“It is a special accomplishment for our team when we have the opportunity to bring our brand and mission to a new state,” said Austin Samuelson, co-founder of Tacos 4 Life. “We are honored and blessed to continue spreading our meal for meal concept across the country. Tulsa will have the opportunity to change many children’s lives while enjoying some great food.”
The Tacos 4 Life Tulsa store will be located at 10732 Memorial Drive. This will be the taco shop’s fourth state to expand to and 17th store opening. Tacos 4 Life worked closely with commercial real estate partner, Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate, on the development for the Oklahoma plans.
“We anticipate the Tulsa store to be the first of many locations throughout Oklahoma,” said Joshua Brown, principal for Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate. “Our team worked closely with Tacos 4 Life to ensure that this location in Tulsa had everything the brand needs to succeed, and we are confident that this will lead to continued growth in Oklahoma.”
The way Tacos 4 Life works is simple — for every taco, quesadilla, salad, nachos or rice bowl sold, Tacos 4 Life donates $0.22 to Feed My Starving Children. $0.22 is equivalent to the cost of one meal for a hungry child. In October 2018, Tacos 4 Life reached seven million meals raised by guests since opening its doors in 2014.
The Oklahoma restaurant will have a soft opening that will be ticket-entry only leading up to their grand opening. Stay tuned for details on the Tacos 4 Life Facebook page, located here.
About Tacos 4 Life
Long before Tacos 4 Life opened its doors, co-founders Austin and Ashton Samuelson had a heart for the hungry. In 2009, they learned that over 18,000 children were dying worldwide each day due to starvation and hunger related causes. What surprised them is that the problem was completely preventable. Starvation is nothing more than a distribution problem. This simple fact moved them so much that they knew they could, and should, do something to help solve this problem. Thus, Tacos 4 Life opened its first location in Conway, AR in 2014.
The Samuelson’s believe that God is up to something big and can use Tacos 4 Life, which exists to serve amazing food and to empower communities to fight to end world hunger, to help solve the world’s most solvable problem. Tacos 4 Life is a highly-differentiated restaurant that offers chef-crafted, award winning menu items served in a unique environment.
