Jonesboro – The Jonesboro Sun
The retailer Tuesday Morning will be returning to Jonesboro, Haag Brown Commercial announced Monday.
The store will join Ross in anchoring the Highland Square Shopping Center re-development at the corner of Caraway Road and Highland Drive.
“We are beyond excited to make this announcement and welcome Tuesday Morning back to Jonesboro,” said Joshua Brown of Haag Brown Commercial.
“Cities across the nation are experiencing the closing of national retailers. We are going to celebrate bucking this trend.”
Tuesday Morning is a discount retail chain specializing in name-brand home decor. The company was started in a warehouse in Dallas in 1974, and has grown to over 700 stores across the country.
The store will be much different than it was 10 years ago, according to the release. The store will be much larger, occupying the 17,730 square feet adjacent to Bargain Hunt.
“We are very excited about our long-awaited return to the home of Arkansas State University. With our new prototype, this Tuesday Morning store will be much larger and better located than our previous store on Highland Drive, offering our Jonesboro customers an entirely different shopping experience,” said Shannon Brannum, Tuesday Morning district manager.
