Jonesboro, AR – Play It Again Sports Jonesboro is pleased to announce the relocation of its storefront across from The Mall at Turtle Creek to the Highland Square Shopping Center located at the corner of Highland Dr. and Caraway Rd. Joining other national brands such as Ross Dress For Less, Tuesday Morning and Bargain Hunt, Play It Again Sports will complete the revitalization of a historically high traffic retail area.
Franchise Owner, Cameron Campbell obtained the chain in 2018 along with his father, Jimmy Campbell, and the two set out to expand the space and offerings of the well-known business.
“Since I was a little boy, I’ve dreamed of being in the sporting goods business. I used to flip through magazines and pick all the gear for a team over and over with every cool color scheme and new equipment available. So, fast forward 25 years and an opportunity present itself that I couldn’t help but jump on as fast as possible. Play It Again Sports has been locally owned and operated in our community for over ten years, so it was such a fantastic set up to walk into thanks to the legacy Steve Curry left there. My hope is to continue to grow the business by serving this community in every way possible. That brings us to the present where we decided the next step to better serve was more space. After looking at multiple options we just felt the revitalization at the intersection of Caraway and Highland in the newly renovated center felt like home!”, Campbell had to say on the endeavor.
With double the retail space, Campbell said he wanted to create not just a place to buy and sale pre-owned sports and fitness equipment, but a destination for all sports and fitness enthusiasts. The new store will continue to be The #1 Place in Northeast Arkansas to buy, sell, and trade all of your pre-owned sports and fitness equipment. With the expansion of the new facility, however, new product offerings and services will be available.
Four batting cages will be located inside the complex with available times open to the public. The facility will be available for event rentals and batting cage memberships will be available as well.
Play It Again Sports will now be able to accommodate more uniform printing orders as well as offer a large range of NEW athletic equipment and apparel. With a newly signed agreement with Adidas, Campbell is excited to offer the newest in Adidas shoes and apparel for his customers.
Other services will include Glove Steaming to help break in new gloves, Glove Re-lacing and Conditioning for well-loved gloves, and even Golf Club Re-Gripping for those seasoned pros.
