Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is coming to Russellville, a development firm announced Friday.
The restaurant will be located at the intersection of Main Street and Weir Road, across from the Walmart Super Center and beside the newly opened Slim Chickens.
“Haag Brown has completed numerous projects for Freddy’s and multiple developments within Russellville,” said Joshua Brown of Haag Brown Commercial, CCIM. “I am confident Freddy’s will be a great addition to the market and an awesome co-tenant for Slim’s.”
Freddy’s, named for the founders’ father and WWII Veteran Freddy Simon, strives to serve fresh All-American food without a long wait. According to its website, the menu includes steakburgers and combo meals, patty melts, hot dogs, and a grilled chicken breast sandwich along with frozen custard sundaes, concreates and cones;
The restaurant chain was co-founded in 2002 by brothers Bill and Randy Simon, and their friend and business partner, Scott Redler. They named the restaurant after Bill and Randy’s father, Freddy Simon. Today, Freddy’s restaurants from coast-to-coast serve a menu reminiscent of the all-American meals Freddy prepared for his family, a statement said.
