[Russellville, Ark. August 18, 2025] – Haag Brown is excited to announce ALDI, one of the fastest-growing grocery chains in the U.S., will open its first store in Russellville by the end of the year, bringing new jobs and another fresh food option to the city’s rapidly expanding retail landscape.
The 2.46-acre site at 2400 E Main Street, directly across from Walmart Supercenter, sits in one of Russellville’s busiest retail corridors. The property was on the market only a few weeks before ALDI signed a long-term ground lease, marking a significant step in the company’s national expansion plan to open 225 new stores in 2025.
This will be ALDI’s first location in Russellville and part of a national footprint that now includes more than 2,500 stores, making it the third-largest grocery chain in the U.S. Known for its efficient store layouts, cost-saving approach, and focus on value, ALDI’s arrival will add a new competitive dynamic to the local grocery market.
Haag Brown Commercial represented the landlord in this high-profile transaction, while Nick Garavaglia of CBRE represented ALDI. Construction is already underway, and the store is expected to open before the end of 2025.
From 7 Brew to Slim Chickens, Freddy’s, and Buffalo Wild Wings, Haag Brown Commercial has proudly helped bring many successful projects to Russellville and looks forward to continued growth in the market.
