NEA Baptist Clinic Coming to Brookland, Arkansas
Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce the development of a new, state-of-the-art medical facility for NEA Baptist Clinic along Highway 49 North in Brookland, Arkansas. The medical office will be located at the corner of Highway 49 North and Honeysuckle between Jordan’s Kwik Stop and the Dollar General store.
“It has been a high priority goal to move the Brookland NEA Baptist Clinic location to a larger, more visible and easily accessible location for some time and we are thankful it is now a reality,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal, Joshua Brown. “There are already amazing physicians in the Brookland clinic. We are excited to provide additional space to potentially usher some new providers into a nice new facility.”
Recently, Haag-Brown Development, LLC signed a long-term lease with the NEA Baptist Health System. The clinic will continue to operate out of their current location on West Smith Street until construction on the new building is complete.
“We look forward to providing our patients with better access to our clinic and providers in Brookland,” stated Brad Parsons, administrator and CEO of NEA Baptist. “We have a great team that provides exceptional care to our patients in this community. I am appreciative of the partnership we have with Haag Brown Commercial to make this happen.”
Brookland is among the fastest growing cities in Arkansas and has experienced this tremendous growth largely due to its unique location along Highway 49 North between Jonesboro and Paragould.
With the addition of the $500 MM NEA Baptist Medical Campus, the opening of ASU’s NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the construction of the Courtyard by Marriott, Jonesboro’s northern market has exploded.
On the other hand, the majority of all development money spent in Paragould is focused on its south side which can be seen in the completion of the US Hwy 412 bypass, the new Paragould Medical Park, and a new Hampton Inn hotel.
“The growth patterns of these two cities have created a perfect storm for Brookland. As a result, there is a major push for change and development occurring within this retail market and we are excited to be a part of it,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal Greg Haag. “We feel the addition of this medical facility will positively affect the community and stimulate even more growth.”
The 7,000 square foot medical office will sit on acreage adjacent to Dollar General. The clinic is anticipated to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2018. Construction will begin in the coming weeks.
