Arkansas-Based Taco Restaurant Chain to Open Location Near North Little Rock Mall

Fast-casual Mexican chain Tacos 4 Life is working with Dillard’s to open a restaurant near McCain Mall in North Little Rock early this fall, its owners said.

Co-owner Austin Samuelson said in a statement that the latest restaurant, off U.S. 67 at Warden Road, will “mark a new standard” with a new design prototype and the “latest technology.”

For the North Little Rock project, the chain entered into a lease agreement with Dillard’s Dollars Inc. for land at the mall’s Warden Road entrance.

Joshua Brown of Haag Brown Commercial said more opportunities are possible with Dillard’s stores in “key markets” for future Tacos 4 Life locations.

“This real estate transaction is of utmost importance in regards to growing Tacos 4 Life from a real estate perspective,” Brown said in a statement.

Tacos 4 Life, which began in 2014 in Conway, has since expanded to locations across Arkansas as well as Texas. Restaurants are planned or proposed in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
