BENTON, AR | October 6, 2016 :: It has only been a month since Tacos 4 Life announced a new location in Little Rock and Haag Brown is excited to release that a second deal has closed that will bring the restaurant to Benton. It will be located on the old Callahan Motor lot at the entrance of the Hurricane Creek Village shopping center adjacent to Slim Chickens.
The city of Benton, led by Mayor David J. Mattingly, truly made this project a reality.
“We want to thank the city of Benton for all they have done in working with us on this project. Mayor Mattingly and his team have been great to work with. It is refreshing to work with a city that encourages businesses big and small to join their community. Thanks to their efforts, opening a location in Benton this next year is possible.” Austin Samuelson :: Tacos 4 Life Owner
The new, stand-alone restaurant will have frontage on Alcoa Road, just north of Interstate 30 and south of Highway 5. The booming area is rapidly expanding with both nationally and locally owned restaurants and retailers such as Academy Sports and Outdoors, Kroger Marketplace, Slim Chickens, Pie Five Pizza and Zaxby’s.
“As Tacos 4 Life began to branch out from Little Rock, Benton proved to be an exciting city for us to do as a Central Arkansas option, The people of Benton have a drive for expansion and have attracted many new national retailers to the area. As a result, Kroger Marketplace and other stores in the general vicinity are doing extremely well.” Joshua Brown :: Haag Brown Commercial Principal
Tacos 4 Life, a Conway based company whose ultimate goal is to eradicate childhood hunger worldwide, provides Feed My Starving Children the funds necessary to purchase one meal for every meal sold in the restaurant. “Our main focus as a restaurant is to feed hungry children by providing customers with made-from-scratch, amazing food,” said restaurant Co-owner Ashton Samuelson. “Opening another location will allow us to build relationships in a new community and raise even more meals for hungry children.”
Benton Mayor David Mattingly shared his excitement about Tacos 4 Life’s commitment to the city.
“I am pleased and excited that Tacos 4 Life is coming to Benton. I enjoyed meeting and working with Austin and Mark Samuelson in making their move to the City of Benton a reality. Their reputation for producing high quality food and service, along with a special program to assist hungry children, is admirable and will make them an outstanding addition to our community.” David Mattingly :: Benton Mayor
The 0.88 acre tract of land, located between Slim Chickens and the Pilot Travel Center, was purchased by Tacos 4 Life on Tuesday, October 4th. “It’s special every time we get to make an announcement about another Tacos 4 Life store,” stated Haag Brown Commercial Broker Nathan Eller.
“With each restaurant, more starving children are fed. We are happy to have helped them with this one and could not be more excited for these guys. This will be their 5th store in Arkansas, and we have a strategic plan for continuing to multiply this concept and mission in other markets.” Nathan Eller :: Haag Brown Commercial Broker
Tacos 4 Life will open their Benton location in the second quarter of 2017.
