New Addition to Paragould’s Most Prominent Corner
Two years ago, Haag Brown Commercial announced that CVS Pharmacy was coming to the corner of Highway 49 North and Highway 412, Paragould’s most prominent corner. Today we are excited to announce that Elite 412 Plaza, a Class-A retail center, is scheduled to be built on the former Sunset Motel site adjacent to CVS.
On June 22nd, Elite 412 Real Estate, LLC, represented by Joshua Brown and Zac Qualls of Haag Brown Commercial, purchased the 1.06 acre site across from the new Arby’s. Brent Meeks and John Holder of Coldwell Banker Village Communities represented the hotel property’s sellers.
“The re-development of this property will make a huge visual impact at the busiest intersection in Greene County and spurn additional growth for the entire market,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal Joshua Brown.
Elite 412 Plaza is fully committed to two outstanding tenants. Elite Eye Care, a local group of optometry professionals who provide high quality eye care through state-of-the-art technology, will occupy the center’s eastern 2,800 square foot endcap, while Fazoli’s, a national Italian-American fast casual restaurant, will occupy the western 3,200 square foot endcap.
“My family loves Fazoli’s!” stated Joshua Brown. “ I was so disappointed when they left Jonesboro several years ago so we went after them hard to bring them back. Their business has flourished since then and we are excited to help them grow their brand by entering a new market.”
Haag Brown Commercial Leasing Specialist Garrett McPherson worked closely with both the center’s ownership group and Fazoli’s franchisee to procure a lease for the space.
“We have been working with Fazoli’s on finding the perfect site in Paragould for right at a year, and I don’t think they could have landed in a better location,” said Garrett. “For so long the residents of Paragould have been accustomed to seeing the old motel on West Kingshighway. By early spring of 2018 the motel will be gone and the new Elite 412 Plaza will be completed, giving the city a new modern center that will be unlike any other around. The design of this building is so cool!”
Demolition of the former motel is set to begin soon with construction to closely follow. Both tenants are expected to open for business in early Spring of 2018.
