JONESBORO, AR, October 28, 2015 :: Haag Brown is proud to announce plans for a new development in Springdale, AR that will include Starbucks, a national and very popular chain for a wide variety of tasty coffee drinks (www.starbucks.com). Principal Developers for Haag Brown, Joshua Brown and Greg Haag, worked alongside Starbuck’s representative Hank Kelley of Flake and Kelley located in Little Rock, AR, to bring this project to fruition. The plans also include space for a new location for Arkansas Dentistry and Braces (www.arsmiles.com), an Arkansas-based comprehensive dental and orthodontic care business. Other locations include Bentonville, Blytheville, Clarksville, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Forrest City, Jonesboro, Paragould, Siloam Springs, Van Buren, and West Memphis.
We think Springdale will be excited about finally having a Starbucks in the market and we feel like location and access will be great as a result of tying into the signal at Rieff Street.”

The new retail center will be located on the old Joe’s Italian Grill site near the signalized corner of West Sunset Avenue and Rieff Street in Springdale, AR. “We worked the Springdale market for months looking for the right opportunity,” said Joshua Brown. “Our efforts steered us to where our search first began, which was on Sunset Avenue directly in front of Lowe’s. We think Springdale will be excited about finally having a Starbucks in the market and we feel like location and access will be great as a result of tying into the signal at Rieff Street.”
Haag Brown will be using the same architectural design for this Starbucks as the one they developed in Fayetteville, AR. “The building we developed for Starbucks in Fayetteville has been well received and seems to function extremely well for the tenants; therefore, using the same design makes perfect sense,” Principal Developer Greg Haag stated. The 5,938 square foot building will sit on approximately 1 acre of land on West Sunset Avenue with direct access from both Rieff and Sunset Streets, located directly next to Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches and BluFin Japanese Cuisine. Other restaurants and office space in close proximity include Lowe’s, Applebee’s, Verizon, Planet Fitness, and Jim’s Razorback Pizza.
Haag Brown, who will serve as the developers on this project, closed on the land Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and construction is set to begin immediately. It seems that Springdale residents will start enjoying Starbucks coffee very soon.
